MISSION STATEMENT

Driving Superior Student Performance, Accountability & Fiscal Responsibility

I plan to provide the kind of Executive leadership that will hold our administration accountable for the highest level of student performance while utilizing our dollars in the most cost effective manner.

Meet Kit McKee

Kit McKee grew up in Richardson, TX, and credits the public schools for the foundation to many life opportunities. Following graduation from Richardson High School, Kit attended Richland College and finished at the University of Texas in Dallas where he completed BA in Government and Politics.

His career began in the IT services industry where he's had the opportunity to work with and lead colleagues on every continent. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the cultural diversity in Allen today. Kit brings this executive experience to his race for the Allen ISD Board of Trustees with a desire to serve the teachers and students.

Over the past decade Kit has volunteered for several boards and committees in AISD including the District Improvement committee, Project Kids and the Foundation for Allen Schools where he served as a board member as well as an officer.  During that time the McKee family funded 6 large scholarships for High School seniors in need.

Kit and his wife, Patti, moved to Allen in 1993 and immediately fell in love with the community and schools. Their children, Shannon and Ryan, were students in Allen ISD and their own successes in life and career are due, in part, to their time as Allen Eagles.
